Go all in

When I came to college, I realized that opportunity is everywhere. There are so many things to get involved with, and it is easy to get overwhelmed. I remember feeling like I had to do everything because I was afraid of missing out on something important, and it still is something I am trying to work on. I tend to have a multitude of interests and want to explore all of them, which results in a poor quality of work in some areas. I end up in a situation where I have to pick and choose which opportunities to prioritize, which isn’t fair to the people I am working with.

So, I’ve been trying to go all in. This year, I want to truly commit to the things that I do, and proactively let people know when I am unable to commit to something. I want to be able to give my all to the projects that I am working on, because that’s the only way to not only create something meaningful, but also to be fair to the people I am working with. When you’re spread too thin, you end up not being able to give your best to anything, and that’s not fair to anyone.
